Factory Finished Strip Labels
|
The human eye reads colour faster and further than any words or numbers. Colour coding is when each letter of the alphabet and numbers 0 to 9 are given a unique colour and pattern. This creates colour breaks that make it easy to identify files and virtually eliminates misfiles. |
|
Previously the only way to colour code filing was to use individual sticky
labels, which proved to be time consuming when they were applied to the folders. Colorflex addressed this problem by producing a unique one-piece, computer generated strip label. This label not only contains all of the colour bands in one easy to apply strip, but also contains text information and barcodes. Factory Finished Labels Colorflex produce a variety of factory finished labels, in a range of sizes. The most popular labels are 4" and 8" Convert-A-Labels and Convert-A-Tabs. All of the factory finished labels produced by Colorflex have an adhesive that bonds stronger with age, which makes it easy to apply to new and existing folders. Factory finished labels are also over-laminated which makes them more durable and virtually tear-proof. The laminate also makes them more resistant to the effects of light, air, moisture and daily wear and tear. |

Convert-A-Label The most popular factory finished label. The Convert-A-Label has been designed for end and top tab folders and is available in 4" and 8" sizes. Virtually any information can be put onto the label. The major benefits are:

Convert-A-Tab Convert-A-Tabs are very similar to Convert-A-Labels and are available in the same sizes and styles. The difference between the two is that Convert-A-Tabs have extended sides, which are designed to apply the strip label to folders that do not have an end tab or top tab. Convert-A-Tabs, therefore, contain the tab and the label in one, and are an ideal way to convert existing folders to end or top tab folders. Not only do you convert to a colour coded system, but you avoid the cost of replacing folders.
